The firehose of gratitude shared through the #tweetsgiving tag during those 48 hours was overwhelming. Now that TweetsGiving 2008 is over (and we’ve met our goal!!) I wanted to share some data about our efforts. This year during TweetsGiving… [...]

Mark- thanks for your encouragement and kind words. Lets be in touch later this week.

Leah- You're the best- have you shown the site to the folks from your office who came to the activist training Sunday?

Stacey- That would be great! I'd love to speak with you further about how you can get more involved.

I AM GRATEFUL to be the sister of such an innovative, courageous and generous young cyber fundraiser!! Seriously. How many people have a brother capable of inspiring thousands of complete strangers to express their gratitude publicly and support an organization that they've never even heard of? Avi, you rock. Thanks for helping so many people to give of themselves this week.

I think that your Tweetsgiving idea is totally awesome, and I'm really impressed with how quickly it has caught on. I am on the board of directors for the Daraja Academy...we follow each other on twitter! Neither I nor anyone else on our board has the tech savvy to design something like this, but we'd love to. We have only a few months left before we open our doors to our students in February 2009 and are trying to make a big push to get ourselves financially over the hump. Is there any way that we can talk about how we could try and replicate your idea? I'd really appreciate any feedback or ideas. Thanks a lot!
