About Avi

I’m Avi Kaplan. I’m a digital native, an nptechie, and a rabble-rouser active in progressive causes and the Jewish community. I’m a South Florida native, a Washington D.C. resident, and a Harvard University alum. Recently, I was the Director of Online Community and Special Projects at Epic Change where I co-founded TweetsGiving, a global celebration of gratitude and giving.

Now I’m an online marketing consultant and coach and advise on social media best practices and campaigns. I’ve worked with authors, filmmakers, synagogues, schools, small business owners, and nonprofits. I’ve presented workshops and webinars for TechSoup, Darim Online’s Learning Network and Social Media Bootcamp, American Jewish World Service’s Inside the Activist’s Studio program, and the Schusterman Foundation’s Insight Fellows.
